The Snugpak Torrent WGTE Jacket is built for days when the weather refuses to cooperate. Designed as a rugged three-season shell with serious cold-weather capability, it combines exclusive Softie® insulation with a fully taped, 10,000 mm waterproof Paratex Dry outer, giving you reliable warmth and total protection from wind and rain. Whether you’re on patrol, hiking in persistent drizzle, or working long hours outdoors, the Torrent keeps you dry, comfortable, and operational.
At its core is Softie® synthetic insulation (100% polyester), known for retaining warmth even in damp conditions. With a comfort rating down to -5°C and a low rating to -10°C, this jacket is dialed for cold, wet environments where layering alone isn’t enough. The technical fit keeps bulk low for mobility, while still leaving room for a fleece or mid-layer underneath.
Every detail supports real field use. The detachable insulated hood can be zipped off entirely or rolled away when not needed, and dual side/rear adjusters let you cinch it tight against wind and driving rain. A brushed polyester-lined neck warmer adds comfort where it matters most, sealing in heat and cutting chill around the collar.
Storage is mission-practical: deep hand-warmer pockets swallow gloves or gear and are lined with brushed polyester for added warmth, while a hidden internal chest pocket keeps valuables protected and out of sight. All primary access points use YKK® weatherproof zippers—including a tough two-way main zip—so water stays out even in prolonged downpours.
