ER-Gear Cummerbund with Quick Release is a mission-focused side cummerbund engineered for the Estonian Defence Forces 3-in-1 plate carrier system. It delivers added stability and true emergency doffing speed for users who need a low-profile setup without sacrificing practical load-carrying capability.
Made from durable Cordura®/nylon fabric, the cummerbund is built to handle field abrasion, repeated use, and harsh weather. The structure balances stiffness and comfort: it keeps side pouches and gear tight to the body while staying flexible enough for breathing and movement under load.
For rapid donning and doffing, the system features 2M ROC-80 quick-release buckles on both sides. These robust ROC clips lock securely during movement but can be opened instantly, even with gloves or under stress — a critical advantage for maritime ops, casualty access, or fast armor removal.
The front attaches to the carrier via hook-and-loop, while the rear is secured with elastic bands or cords (not included). This allows easy fitting across different carriers and body shapes while maintaining correct tension and full 3-in-1 compatibility. Measuring 70 × 12.5 cm, it provides effective side coverage and enough space for magazines, radios, or mission essentials.
