A PU-treated skeleton in the upper and sole supports the shoe in a breathable and dynamic way, eliminating the need for seams. The exclusive AKU Elica Natural Stride System technology in the midsole optimizes biodynamic efficiency while running. Vibram® Selvatica Megagrip outsole with improved contact surface with the ground provides better all-around traction. Antimicrobial and breathable OrthoLite® insoles create optimal shock absorption.
The upper is made of highly durable 3D nylon fabric AIR 8000®. AIR 8000® is a material technology developed by the company AKU, which gives functional shoes optimized breathability and quick-drying material properties. By using highly water vapor permeable functional fabrics, shoes with AIR 8000® have up to 11 times faster moisture management than comparable models made of quick-drying materials. The GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane makes it waterproof to boot.
