The MARRAS AR Kiire L is the longer version of Marras’ Kydex-retention rifle magazine pouch, designed for users who want to carry the magazine lower on the belt while keeping reloads fast, clean and consistent. It holds one 5.56 R20/AR-15 magazine or one AK magazine, making it a versatile choice for training, duty use and field operations.
AR Kiire L combines the best characteristics of fabric and hard-shell pouches. The outer body uses a durable Foxdura/laminate construction, while the core is a Kydex thermoplastic insert that retains the magazine through precision pressure. This provides reliable security without relying on extra flaps, buckles or bungees — the mag stays locked in place, yet draws smoothly when speed matters.
Because the Kydex insert keeps the pouch structured, the AR Kiire L retains its shape when empty, making re-indexing significantly faster — the mouth of the pouch doesn’t collapse. The extended length also changes the leverage of the insert, resulting in slightly reduced clamp pressure without compromising retention, since the magazine sits deeper and remains stable even during dynamic movement.
Mounting is handled via MOLLE, allowing attachment to plate carriers, belts or war belts. The front of the pouch features three rows of MOLLE webbing, enabling additional pouches or equipment to be stacked on top — ideal for building a compact, modular loadout.
