OLAV + OLAVE is a modular 2-piece tactical sleeping system combining Climashield® insulation with a 10,000 mm waterproof cover. Designed for extreme weather, it functions as a sleeping bag, warming cloak, shelter tarp, or rain poncho – built for professionals who rely on reliable field protection.
OLAV + OLAVE Sleeping System is a high-end modular field sleep solution developed by Profline Militaar for demanding outdoor and tactical environments. The system consists of two independent components – the insulated OLAV sleeping bag and the fully waterproof OLAVE outer cover – both usable together or separately via integrated zippers.
OLAV is a compact multi-purpose sleeping bag in Estonian digital camouflage, insulated with advanced Climashield® APEX continuous-filament padding. This mono-fiber construction offers outstanding warmth retention and shape stability even after repeated packing, washing, and long-term field use. Proven performance is tested down to -30°C.
Its full-perimeter water-resistant YKK zippers and zippered arm openings allow OLAV to convert into a hooded warming cloak – ideal for static positions, base camps, or extended duty outdoors.
OLAVE is a rugged waterproof cover designed to protect against rain, snow, wind, and moisture. With a 10,000 mm waterproof rating, taped seams, and splash-resistant zippers, it ensures maximum protection in harsh weather.
OLAVE can be used in three ways:
- Zipped directly onto OLAV as an outer weather shield
- As a standalone shelter tarp using reinforced corner eyelets
- As a hooded rain poncho with separate waterproof arm covers
