BERTIL Parka is an Estonian digital camouflage military parka built for true four-season use. It has earned “customer favorite” status for a reason: BERTIL is designed to layer smoothly across the year — a reliable outer shell in wind and rain, and a stable platform for insulation when temperatures drop.

The parka uses a dense twill fabric made of 67% polyester and 33% cotton. A water- and dirt-repellent finish, reinforced with a fluorocarbon treatment, improves performance in wet, cold climates. The material balances toughness and comfort with 210 g/m² weight, 50,000-cycle abrasion resistance, and 40 mm/s air permeability.

BERTIL is built around layered loadouts. In winter, wear it over a warming jacket; in spring and autumn, over fleece; in summer, as a lightweight wind shell. The jacket can also be zipped directly to the FRODI warming jacket, creating a fast-configurable cold-weather system without extra bulk.

Every feature is field-driven. YKK® zippers ensure durability, while the front closure is protected by a hook-and-loop wind flap to seal out drafts and moisture. The waist and hem adjust via elastic drawcords and locks, letting you tune fit over armor or lighter layers.

The removable hood adds mission flexibility. A soft wire shapes the hood brim, the opening adjusts horizontally with cord locks, and a rear hook-and-loop adjuster controls height and stability. The collar top edge is also adjustable, keeping wind protection consistent even when the hood is off.

For heat management, dual-slider under-arm ventilation zips provide rapid airflow during high output movement. Reinforced elbows handle repeated ground contact, and sleeve cuffs adjust with hook-and-loop tabs for a secure seal around gloves.

Storage is extensive and tactical: vertical zip chest pockets on both fronts, lower angled pockets with flaps, zip sleeve pockets with loop fields for unit/role IDs, and two large vertical back-lower pockets with full-height mesh liners — ideal for bulkier items or quick-grab layers.
